National Super Alliance (NASA) Presidential running mate Kalonzo Musyoka's has come out clearly on the controversies surrounding his nominations to the East African Legislative Assembly.

The 30-year-old defended his candidature saying that his qualifications gave him the post.

"I faced a panel of 23 interviewers to land the nomination," he said, adding that his dedicated contribution to the Wiper also contributed to the nomination.

The Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) added Kennedy's name on the list of nominees, a move which sparked row, including the recent crisis in the National Assembly.
