For the love of football: Thieves steal weapons from AP Post as officers watch UEFA match

Thieves on Tuesday night broke into Kamorwon AP post in Nandi County and stole rifles and ammunition.

The officers on duty left the station to go watch a UEFA champions league matches at a nearby market centre 4km from the post.

When they returned, they found the armory open and the firearm steel box broken.

The thieves walked away with three rifles with 20 bullets each leaving behind two magazines. Nandi South OCPD, AP commander, and OCS arrived at the scene. Search and investigations have started to find the suspects and stolen arms.
