President Uhuru Kenyatta has jetted out of the country on the eve of Rwanda's President Paul Kagame's inauguration.

A day after the opposition said it will be moving to court to challenge his re-election in the just concluded August elections, Uhuru has made his first movement out of the country as the president.

Nasa's petition will be filed on Friday, the final day according to the constitutional threshold.

Kagame and Uhuru exchanged congratulatory remarks after the duo were re-elected president in the 2017 elections.

Though both have emerged victorious, Uhuru Kenyatta's inauguration remain unknown following Raila Odinga's accusations that the elections were rigged.

A message from the presidential strategic communication unity said ' the president will join the people of Rwanda tomorrow, Friday, 18th August 2017, to witness the Inauguration of President Paul Kagame.'
