The National Super Alliance (NASA) on Wednesday went to hunt for votes in Uasin Gishu and Nandi Counties, considered to President Uhuru Kenyatta and Willim Ruto's political turf.
But what transpired in the caravan was a blow to the Jubilee party as the NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga maintained his agenda from the Presidential debate that saw Uhuru Kenyatta fail to attend.Addressing residents at Eldoret 64 stadium, Raila hit the nail on the head by telling Uasin Gishu single mothers that his administration will give them first priority in employment opportunities, to help them raise their children'Single mothers will be given better chances to get employment and bring up their children,' said Odinga.
Like he assured Kenyans, especially nairobians, during the presidential debate, the cost of living and housing will go down in Eldoret.Reacting on this, Kenyans on twitter lauded the opposition saying it is a hit to the government.@ AbalaKinyua said, 'This low cost housing for single mothers proposed by NASA is a hit. Good idea.'Raila went on to assure Eldoret residents that his administration will root out corruption, adding that 'the law will be amended correctly and accordingly...'
He added that he expected President Uhuru Kenyatta to attend the recent Presidential Debate so that he can ask him about the cost of living, which is very high.
